Day Two Hundred Sixty-Seven

"Finally, I want to thank the troops here and around the world. I am rarely at a loss for words but when I think of all you have sacrificed for your country these past six years it really seems insufficient to say thank you and really inappropriate to say holy shit so I'll just say what I hope you can all say soon, "Honey, I'm coming home."

-Stephen Colbert at the end of his USO tour in Iraq

**Honeymoon destination number two coming tomorrow ;)

I think that's about the coolest thing I've ever heard. And so true.

We're still trying to decide where to go for our second honeymoon. I think we have to wait until the spring though, boo!

I love, love, love the fact that Colbert did the Repor(t) from Iraq. The whole thing was awesome, but that closing bit was perfect. :)

I was so glad to see him out in Iraq supporting the troops and broadcasting. I'm not big on politics, and i stick with P's philosophy of not discussing them period. But I enjoyed watching the clips of the broadcasts whenever I could. (I'm using satellite tv and things are airing at bizarre times)
