Day Two Hundred Ninety-Two.

Hello Heaven.
My mom and aunt came to Alaska with me two weeks ago to help me clean, unpack and get settled. They have been a huge help so to return the favor I took them to the hot springs the other day and hiking today. I thought we would do one of the nice trails at a local refuge and enjoy nature lol. The hike turned into a mile run around a loop to escape the swarms of mosquitos and get back to the nature trails through the fields. After being what seemed like ate alive by mosquitos we headed over to another area for a walk by the river and to take Em to the dog park. The whole thing didn't turn out as planned and with the heat and all the bites we headed to the store to get something to drink. We found the above slice of heaven in the beer section and if you are like me and love beer you must try the above. It for sure helps with bug bites haha.

I am catching up on blogs one at a time, but until my mom leaves on Monday I wont be able to upload many pictures and share the house with everyone. I want to spend this weekend with her before we have to separate again until next spring. :)

I hope everyone is doing well and welcome to my new followers while I was internet-less! :)

HA HA! Good ol' Alaska and the skeeters:p Which hot springs? We went to Chena Hot Springs in Fairbanks while I was there, but I doubt you're talking about that one:p It was devine and rght in the middle of winter so that was just crazy and insane and fun to me:p We got out and on the walk back to our yurt, we had icicles in our hair:p Glad you're having fun and enjoying your mom and aunt!

Oooh that beer sounds fabulous! Another great summer beer is the Leinenkugel's Summer Shandy, it's a lemonade and weiss beer mixed together. Yum!

I know exactly what you're talking about with the mosquitos though... I'm a mosquito magnet, and tend to flee when I see massive swarms. :) Enjoy the rest of time with your mom!

I'm glad you're surviving. The hot springs and the beer sound great (and the company!) =).

That's my favorite beer!

I am a sucker for all fruit flavored beers and the sweeter the better in my book. I haven't seen it down here yet, I hope I can find it. Do you know where the brewing company is?
