Just a small update

I finally did it! I started going back to school to finish my last year. I was originally going for my degree in Elementary Education since I already have my associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education. Well I switched things up and decided to go for Early Childhood Education Administration. I figured I would make a good boss, ya know. I feel like I(and I know I do!) dedicate a lot of my time to the people and things I love most. I love volunteering, taking care of our home, being a part of wives groups and anything that gets me involved more in my husband’s career (yes, I do like the FRG).

“Only a life lived for others is a life worthwhile.” – Albert Einstein

For awhile I have felt like I needed more “me” things in my life. More time to enjoy the things I love and am passionate about. This is also how Army Wife Post started because I felt I could do more than just rant and rave about my rollercoaster life. I decided in less than a week to go back to school and enroll in my first class. I didn’t want to take the time to think twice, wonder if I would have the time for everything else or do the wondering of finances. I just went for it. It feels good to do more for myself and I have a few other things I am hoping to add to my plate including a women’s soccer league. With all these changes in my life I have to applaud my husband. He has never been afraid of change and instead of worrying or questioning anything he just supports my choices and my new endeavors. So cheers to him! I sure picked a good one ;)

So I am grabbing the bull by his horns (good thing this is just a saying because who would really grab a bull by his horns? ha ha). I am working on the site and little by little you should notice more of the tabs and pages are working and I am also about to start another giveaway.
On top of all of this I have family in town visiting so my free time has been spent with those I love and the 102* fever I am currently holding. Augh!

Talk soon,

A month!

Holy wow! When I woke up this morning and as I was fixing my first cup of coffee I noticed that it has already been a month since J left. He isn't gone long this time (isn't it sad when anything less than a year isn't long ha ha), but time must be flying. I think I am getting good at this alone stuff too...I wonder if you can eventually be an expert at it? lol

Seventh Generation Giveaway

Seventh Generation was very kind in sending me products to sample in my own home. They came at the perfect time as we were just starting to get settled in our new home. Some of the things I had never tried before, but being a fan of Seventh Generation I was without a doubt excited. The kit they sent included:

- Disinfecting Multi-Surface
- Disinfecting Bathroom
- Disinfecting Wipes - 35 ct.
- Laundry Detergent
- Liquid Fabric Softener
- Dish liquid
- All- Purpose Cleaner
- Auto-Dish Pacs
- Glass Cleaner

One of the greatest products for Military families Seventh Generation makes is their laundry detergent. They do not use optical brighteners in their detergent which are not supposed to be used on combat uniforms! I love having this on hand when I wash my husband’s uniforms.
Another great product I must rave about is the multi-purpose disinfecting wipes. These are great all around the house and without all the harsh chemicals found in many other brands.

One Army Wife Post fan is going to win the exact same package from Seventh Generation!

• Pick one Seventh Generation product you would be excited to try and tell me why (feel free to use the Seventh Generation website and find something not listed in this kit).

• Grab my button and post it on your side bar or add a text link on your side bar. Afterwards come back and leave a separate comment.

• Blog about this give away and leave a link in the comments section here.

• Post on Facebook with a link back here and then leave a comment with your Facebook link.

This giveaway will end at 11:59 P.M. EST on July 22nd. Winner will be chosen and contacted on that day. If no response is heard from the winner within five days another winner will be chosen using Random.org

All opinions are my very own and products were provided to me by Seventh Generation for review upon request.

Good luck,
