Sublime Stitching Giveaway

One winter in Alaska I was bored...beyond bored. Husband had video games and I had the computer. That got old very quickly. I was looking for something crafty that I would really like. I was browsing the internet when I came across Sublime Stitching. Ahhh *love*. I had NO IDEA what I was getting into, but because the patterns were so fun I just ordered a few of my favorites, a kit and a few textiles and hoped for the best. When everything came in it was super easy to pick up on and now I am hooked!

Embroidery is FUN! I have done so many projects using Sublime Stitching from an apron for myself to dish towels, pillow cases and baby bibs for others. Once you start you won't stop I can promise you that...

My next project is this...

The people at Sublime Stitching were cool enough to send me this new Dream Garden wall hanger to stitch up. I am so excited to get started on it in between all the madness in my life! Ahh I just love her. I will post pictures once I am done.

But that is not all. Sublime Stitching wanted to make sure we gave one Army Wife Post reader a chance to try out the whole stitching phenomenon. So one lucky reader is winning a Fantasy Flowers pattern.

You can iron them onto whatever your little heart desires and stitch away. Sublime Stitching offers all the help you will need on their website in the How-To section so no worries! The coolest part? These patterns can be used over and over again. So if you like one flower use it multiple times to make a set of something!

• Go to Sublime Stitching and pick out one pattern you really like. Come back and tell me which one you picked.

• Grab my button and post it on your side bar or add a text link on your side bar. Afterwards come back and leave a separate comment.

• Blog about this giveaway and leave a link in the comments section here.

• Post on Facebook with a link back here and then leave a comment with your Facebook link.

This giveaway will end at 11:59 P.M. EST on September 30th. Winner will be chosen and contacted on that day. If no response is heard from the winner within five days another winner will be chosen using Random.org

All opinions are my very own and products were provided to me by Sublime Stitching for review upon request.

Growin' Up

Our bedroom is the only room that we really haven't invested any time in. This summer I was in there thinking about how if we had storage I would have a place to put stuff. Our bedroom looks like a preteen room. We have two night stands, a bed frame and the chest J made me. We have always thought about maybe upgrading or buying a bedroom set, but we have always put that money aside for other future things.

It really didn't take long to decide that it was time to upgrade to the adult world. I have looked everywhere online and in store and although I have found things I really like I always go back to the first one...

Isn't that how life works? I always go back to my first choice after hours of searching for something right.

So now it is all about decorating. What new bedding will we get? What color will I paint the room? What color can I put in accent pieces? Can I talk J into new mattresses too (ha ha)? Ohhh I am so excited to have a love nest with furniture!

Ideas? Throw them my way!

Happy Hump Day,
