Odds and Ends

In my last post someone asked me where I got our new bedding. It is by Bliss Living and I got it online through Inmod They have some really cool stuff too we used if you are into the modern look.

We are getting ready for some even more changes with J's job. There is never anything steady with the Army, huh?

I am going home for a few days to spend time with my family and relax. I can't wait to see my brother and his girlfriend especially. It has been six+ months since I have seen them. Hopefully I will be able to slip some time in with some friends from high school too before I am back to the grind here.

Everything else is wonderful! The weather is changing and fall is almost officially here. :)

Eli has completely outgrown Emmie, but he sure loves her and she doesn't mind some cuddles. ;)

Growin' Up Part 2

I REALLY wanted to do our bedroom in yellow accents and I was greatly surprised when J agreed to it. However, there was nothing I could find that had a small amount of yellow in the bedding and then the solid browns I was looking at just felt like it would make our bedroom a lot darker especially now that everything is in espresso finish. So as I was browsing I really feel in love with this...
It can be reversed to an all sage color as well. So we splurged...and bought it. We also bought new sheets. For our first anniversary (cotton) we wanted to buy sheets, but J left for Iraq and I just wasn't in the mood. So a little over two years later I finally bought the sheets I have been wanting. Pure luxury but wait that isn't it...

We have never had a TV in our bedroom. I couldn't for the life of me talk J into one and I understand why; most people (men) say the intimacy leaves when the TV arrives lol, but after a little convincing I am the proud new owner of a television in my bedroom!!! J is gone many nights a month and that was the easiest way of convincing him I needed one for the "company". Hey, if it works it works. :)

Our bedroom is going to be the best room in the house now,
