Renuzit Giveaway

Yesterday Renuzit sent me one of their new holiday collection adjustable cones. I have to admit I am a candle girl so I was a bit skeptical of having one of these in my home and it actually working. I was given the Apple & Cinnamon adjustable and put it by the front door last night before bed. When I got up this morning I could smell it when I came downstairs. Then I moved it...I put it in a warmer room upstairs and the smell is even better there!

The cones come in many more Holiday "flavors" including Festive Snow which I want to try next.

Renuzit was also kind enough to send me coupons for two Army Wife Post readers so you can enjoy a Holiday adjustable cone too!

To win this giveaway leave a comment telling me what your favorite scent is.

This giveaway will end at 11:59 P.M. EST on December 1st. Winners will be chosen and contacted on that day. If no response is heard from the winner within five days another winner will be chosen using Random.org. Winners must be a resident of the United States!

Traditional Turkey Day?

In our married {few} years we have never been able to go home to spend Thanksgiving with family. There was a few with J deployed, a few with family but without J, one with my brother visiting and the other few have been up to me to plan for the two of us. Honestly, I can’t even remember what we did last year? Ha ha

This year the Army is throwing a little wrench into the mix again. J will be early in cycle so Turkey Day will be spent at work for him. I am one step ahead though (HA HA Army!) because Thanksgiving in our house has been bumped up to Saturday the 20th. I am excited to cook a big meal for us (okay and the leftovers so I don’t have to cook again for a few days) and put together my grocery list.

So far I have decided on:

-Turkey (obviously…)

-Mashed potatoes and gravy

-Cranberry (I admit I like the canned stuff)

-Sweet potato casserole

-Pumpkin pie

Pretty unique, huh? My husband is picky. He likes to think he isn’t but the guy doesn’t eat cheese, ham, white sauces, cream sauces, oh gosh. So I am still trying to decide on a vegetable dish and maybe another dessert or bread.

I am curious as to what YOUR Thanksgiving menu looks like. Anything daring you are trying or usually serve us? I would love to introduce a new dish to my meat and potatoes husband so throw them my way!

Cheers,
